Individual Budget

The people who use ICS outreach services, or their families/carer, are given an individual budget after assessment for facilitating their care in their own community.

Service users, or their families/carer can take the individual budget as a direct payment, or while still deciding on the care they want and from whom, they can ask local authorities to commission the care services on their behalf. They can also specify a combination of the two routes to accessing outreach care.
