The types of support packages we have designed are based upon the individual needs and circumstance of each young person.
We pride ourselves on the individual attention that each young person receives to successfully move on to adulthood and independent living.
High Support Programme
Level 1:
High Support Programme is mainly aimed at supporting young people who lacks basic independence skills or have enhanced needs.
This programme will gradually introduce young people to take more responsibility and learn about coping alone skills.
ICS provides In-House Educational / skills Workshops in order to further develop young people’s skills and confidence.
Key worker will works closely on 1:1 basis with young people setting SMART action plans, following the pathway plan and working towards achieving positive outcomes and developing and progressing towards independence.
Medium Support Programme
Medium Support Programme is mainly aimed at supporting young people who have had some experience of living alone or within a supported housing setting. The young person will have already some basic independent living skills and be capable of taking on some responsibility for themselves and their actions.
The young person will be supported to continue to take responsibility for them and given enough space and opportunity to live his or her life as independently as they feel capable of.
A support staff member will be allocated to work with the young person to ensure they are keeping and maintaining a good standard of living.
The overall aim of the supported worker will be to help the young person to achieve their desired outcomes, following targets on the pathway.
Low Support Programme
Low Support Programme is aimed at young people who have already reached a point of independence. They will have most likely lived independently previously and have all the necessary skills and ability to manage and cope well on their own.
The support staff member would be seeking to offer emotional support and guidance on developing skills in relationship building, actively encouraging leisure and community involvement and preparing the young person to move onto their own full Licence tenancy into permanent accommodation.
